Dutch neobank bunq announces "bunq Update 20" event in Amsterdam
Amsterdam-based digital bank bunq released an announcement this week stating that the next bunq Update (this is the 20th event of this kind in bunq's history) event will take place on 3rd of May at 20:30 CET at a venue in the center of Amsterdam. Next to an "offline" presentation, a special livestream will be available on YouTube.
bunq Updates are Apple Keynote-like presentations where the company's CEO, Ali Niknam, and other employees unveil new features and products and give users a glimpse at the company's product development roadmap. This Update event is the 20th in bunq's history. You can find video recordings of previous events freely available on bunq's official YouTube channel.
This is the first "offline" event since the beginning of the pandemic with previous editions taking place in an "online-only" format. This is also the first Update since bunq secured the largest Series A round for a European fintech company to date, bringing the bank's valuation to 1.6 billion euros and securing the "fintech unicorn" status.
